Hi there and welcome to my site!
I am truly ecstatic to introduce this website. It has been my passion for the last few years and I am beyond excited and incredibly proud of the content it provides.
A little about me:
I am a Safety Adviser by day and an aspiring vacation blogger by night. I live in Alberta, Canada with my husband Sheldon and our two fur babies, Tia and Austyn. Sheldon and I got married in January 2018 on a beach in the Mayan Rivera. We had our reception on a catamaran sailing through the beautiful, turquoise caribbean sea. Even for our wedding, we knew we wanted to do something abroad. It is this desire for travel that kicked off what has been the most amazing last few years of our lives…
Since our wedding Sheldon and I have been fortunate enough to travel to 13 different countries. It is our deepest passion to escape as often as possible and we are always planning new and exciting vacations.
What is EscapeCrazed all about?
We do not travel full time and I do not see myself as a travel blogger. EscapeCrazed is all about creating memorable and stress free vacations. We enjoy sharing our experiences on where to stay, what to do and how to get around all the great places we visit. Our goal is to help you plan your very own dream vacation, whether it’s sun tanning on a beach in Mexico, or a backpacking trip through Thailand, or even touring Europe, we strive to be a great resource for all your adventures. We are here to prove that you don’t have to travel full time to see the world.
How do we do it?
Each year we create a travel plan that consists 3-4 trips. We try to do one longer trip each year, with a couple smaller trips in-between. Over the last couple years we’ve been able to see some amazing places by strategically planning our vacations in order to get the most out of each trip. Some of these include: Mexico, Belize, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Philippines, UK, Portugal, Spain, Italy and a few road trips through Canada and the United States.
How did EscapeCrazed come to be?
When we first started to travel I used my Instagram and Facebook account to share our experiences with friends and family back about. As time went on it started to grow into something more. I found myself wanting to share all our tips and tricks on how to get the highest return on the vacation time we work so hard to earn, and so became EscapeCrazed. I truly hope you enjoy the blogs. As we move forward through the next year more blogs will go live, so please follow along.
